About
Built by people who use these rooms every day
Custom Golf Simulators of Virginia is the building arm of a team that also owns and operates Indoor Golf RVA, a 24/7 golf simulator club in Richmond. So we design rooms knowing exactly how they hold up in daily use.
Our story
From operating rooms to building them
We started on the operating side, running Indoor Golf RVA around the clock. That gave us a close look at what makes a simulator room work well long-term, and what fails.
After a Richmond developer saw one of our locations, they asked if we could build a simulator for a new apartment building. We immediately recognized two huge issues in the golf simulator industry.
- Nationwide designers send their builders city to city, adding tons of travel costs to quotes when the expertise to design and build is already here in Virginia.
- DIY kits upcharge for the "convenience" of an all-in-one package, when you can save money and get better quality buying individual components from different suppliers.
With rapidly improving simulator technology, it only made sense to use our advantages in those areas and create a standalone business that builds superb golf experiences.
